Job Title: Wood Fired Pizza Truck Point of Sale

Hours: Part time, Friday and Saturday

Schedule: Friday 3:30-8PM and/or Saturday 11:30-7

Employment Period: Position begins immediately and is a year-round position

Compensation:

Location:

This position will be conducted at our farm at our food truck at 40 Grove Street, Peterborough NH.

Training:

Employee will receive on the job training in all tasks associated with the job to the specifications and standards of Backfire Farm.

Job Summary

The Wood Fired Pizza position seeks an individual to operate with us at our wood fired pizza truck. This position would suit a person who is passionate about local food and wood fired cooking. Our Point of Sale person is responsible for accepting orders, running transactions, monitoring online sales and getting finished orders to customers. Applicants should be able to stand for the duration of their shift and be able to work calmly, respectfully and with urgency in a fast paced kitchen. Communication, reliability and consistency are important to our operation.

Minimum Requirements

-Reliable transportation

-Reliable means of phone communication

-Ability to stand for duration of shift

-Ability to lift 50lbs

-Strong attention to detail

-Ability to take direction

-Ability to use point of sale technology
