Job Title: Food Truck Point of Sale

Hours: Part time, Sundays only, 6 hours

Schedule: Sunday 11:30-6:00​

Employment Period: Position begins immediately and runs year long

Compensation:

-Competitive hourly wage based upon experience

-Staff meal

Location:

This position will be conducted at our food truck located at 40 Grove Street, Peterborough NH. 

Training:

Employee will receive on the job training in all tasks associated with the job to the specifications and standards of Backfire Farm.

 

Job Summary

 

The Food Truck Point Of Sale position seeks an individual to conduct transitions at our wood fired pizza truck through our Square POS system, manage giving customers their correct orders, communicate with customers, answer phone and manage online orders. This position would suit a person who enjoys a fast paced work space and is interested in food service. During slow times, cleaning tasks and other general upkeep will be expected of this employee. 

 

 

Minimum Requirements

-Reliable transportation

-Reliable means of phone communication

-Ability to stand for duration of shift

-Ability to lift 50lbs

-Strong attention to detail

-Ability to take direction

-Ability to use point of sale technology
