Job Title: Farm Hand and Farm Store Clerk
Hours: Part time, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays
Schedule: Th + Fri 8-4 on Farm, Saturday 8:30-3 at Store
Employment Period: Position begins immediately and runs until December
Compensation:
-Competitive hourly wage based upon experience
-Free produce and discounted meat
Location:
This position will be conducted at our farm at 563 Old Bennington Road and our Farm Store at 596 Forest Road, Greenfield.
Training:
Employee will receive on the job training in all tasks associated with the job to the specifications and standards of Backfire Farm.
Job Summary
The Farm Hand and Farm Store Clerk position seeks an individual to farm with us and conduct sales at our Farm Store. This position would suit a person who is passionate about local food and wants variety in their work day. This position requires all aspects of vegetable field work including planting, cultivating, harvesting and washing produce in all kinds of weather. Applicants should be able to stand for the duration of their shift and expect to lift 50lbs frequently. Communication, reliability and consistency are important to our operation.

-Ability to stand for duration of shift
-Ability to lift 50lbs
-Strong attention to detail
-Ability to take direction
-Ability to use point of sale technology

Hours: Part time Friday and/or Saturday
Schedule: Friday 3-9PM and/or Saturday 11-8
Employment Period: Position begins immediately and is a year-round position
Compensation:
-Competitive hourly wage based upon experience
-Staff meal
Location:
This position will be conducted at our farm at our food truck at 40 Grove Street, Peterborough NH.
Training:
Employee will receive on the job training in all tasks associated with the job to the specifications and standards of Backfire Farm.
Job Summary
The Wood Fired Pizza position seeks an individual to cook with us at our wood fired pizza truck. This position would suit a person who is passionate about local food and wood fired cooking. This position requires all aspects of kitchen work including wood fired cooking, food prep, and dishes. Applicants should be able to stand for the duration of their shift, expect to lift 50lbs frequently, and be able to work calmly, respectfully and with urgency in a fast paced kitchen. Communication, reliability and consistency are important to our operation.
